Advanced ITT process – How to enrol in this ?
Launch of 100 Hours Advanced ITT course. – (14-10-2014)
As per Regulation 29(c)(iv) of the Chartered Accountants Regulation 1988, students who have registered for Practical Training on or after August 1st, 2012 were required to complete Advanced IT Training before admission to the Final Examination. Having regard to infrastructure and other facilities, the Council of the Institute decided to defer the implementation date of Regulation 29(c)(iv) from August 1st, 2012 to February 1st, 2013. Accordingly, 100 Hours Advanced ITT course will now be applicable to those students who have registered for Practical Training on or after February 1st, 2013 but before appearing in the Final Examination in terms of Regulation 29(c)(iv) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
Hence all such students who commenced their articleship on or after February 1, 2013 and are eligible to appear in November, 2015 Examination are advised to complete the Advanced ITT well in advance before appearing in the Final Examination so as to avoid any hardship at a later date.
The fee for the Advanced ITT has been fixed at Rs. 5,000 per student which shall be charged by the concerned branch. The duration of the batches will be 4/6 hours per day. As per the Regulations, the time spent by the students for undergoing 100 Hours of Advanced ITT will be treated as a part of the training as period actually served under articles.

Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills(Advanced ICITSS) – Advanced Information Technology Test (Under Regulation 29D(iii), 51E/72E of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988)

Date of Examination
Timings of Examination 10.30 AM. to 12.30 PM. (IST) Reporting time 9.15 A.M.(IST)a) The CBT may be conducted at the centers in one or more shift, depending upon the applications received for the center. Exam department will allot to the shift on first come, first serve basis and as per applications received and seats available at the centre. No change in shift or center requests will be entertained.
Examination Fee Rs. 500/- for Centres in India, INR 850 for Kathmandu(Nepal)Centre, USD 150 for Dubai Centre
Mode of Payment of Fee
Exam fee is to be remitted Online only using Master/ Visa/ Maestro Credit/Debit Card or through net banking via Paytm. The Fee is waived for First Time Applicants and Candidates with permanent disabilities who are holding valid permanent concession card issued by the Institute.
Examination Centres The Institute reserves its right to withdraw any centre and / or the Zone and / or transfer all or a part of the candidates of a zone to another zone at any stage without assigning any reason. Once a centre is opted for, no change is allowed under any circumstances.a) Candidates will mandatorily be required to choose any of the cities listed under Option- I and he /she will be allotted to the city so opted in Option-I, in the normal course.b)Choosing Option-II is NOT mandatory. Candidates opting for Option-II may note that in case sufficient number of candidates opt for option-II centre, then they will be allotted Option-II centre ONLY. Further, no change of the centre will be permitted.
Last date for filling of online application at the site http://advit.icaiexam.icai.org is Monday , 28th December 2020 How the application form (PDF) should reach the Institute? There is no need to submit any print out of the application form at the office of the Institute. However, you may keep the copy of PDF for your own records at least till the release of admit cards.
Eligibility Candidates who have or would have successfully undergone the Advanced ICITSS – Advanced ITT course on or before 11th January, 2021 are eligible to apply for appearing in the above test .
Admission to the TestNo candidate shall be admitted to the test unless he / she has successfully completed the course or going to complete the course on or before 11th January, 2021and if admitted, the results are likely to be withheld/cancelled.
Issue of Admit Card
The Admit Cards for the Test will be hosted on the same site i.e. http://advit.icaiexam.icai.org by 8th January, 2021 and candidates are requested to download the same from the above mentioned web site and check all particulars, especially the registration no is appearing correctly. No physical admit cards will be issued. No separate email / sms will be sent in this regard. And No physical admit cards will be issued. Details of Test This will be an Objective Type MCQ based examination of 100 marks having 100 questions of 1 mark each.There will be no negative marking. There would be no reading time. Candidates should report to the centre by 9.15 A.M. (IST), Exam will start at 10.30 AM. Late arrival of candidates will not be permitted. Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall till the conclusion of the test.
Requirement for passing the Test
A candidate for the Test shall be declared ordinarily to have passed the test if he / she secures a minimum of 40% (Forty Percent) marks.
Those who pass will be given grades as follows:
85% and above=A+
70% to 84%=A
55% to 69%=B+
40%-54%=B
No merit list will be declared
There is no provision for verification of marks or supply of certified copy of answer sheet.
Declaration of result
Results will be hosted on http://advit.icaiexam.icai.org Candidates are advised in their own interest to print the same for their record.
No separate statement of marks will be issued.
No pass certificates will be issued.
Fee and Refund of feeA candidate will not be required to pay the test fee when he applies for the test for the first time. The application once made cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances and the candidate will NOT be allowed to claim fee waiver in case of his/her request for the withdrawal / rejection of his/her application.
If he applies for the test for the second time onwards, he will be required to pay the test fee plus applicable bank charges.
Candidates with permanent disabilities who are holding valid permanent concession card issued by the Institute are exempt from paying the fee.
The Fee once paid by a candidate shall not be refunded / adjusted under any circumstances.In case multiple online payments are received by the Institute due to systemic error and you do not get a refund within 20 days from the last date for submission of applications, you can claim a refund of the excess amount paid by you, by writing an email to us at advanceditt_examhelpline@icai.inwithin 30 days from the last date for submission of forms, along with documentary evidence, such as bank/credit card statement, of having paid the exam fees more than once. ICAI will verify the same and refund the excess amount, if any, paid by you.
Candidates with permanent disabilities will be extended concessions as follows: Less than 50% disability- extra time of half an hour 50% or more of disability-extra time of one hour Assistance of writer will be provided if required.
For any/all dispute(s) relating to the Test conducted by the ICAI, the Courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
NOTE : In the event of furnishing any incorrect information / misrepresentation, the admission shall become invalid and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
Step – 1 Login to the portal
The applicant shall visit the website http://advit.icaiexam.icai.org, Click on APPLY FOR EXAM /LOGIN link on the home page and enter his/her 10 Digit Registration number validated by their Date Of Birth as per ICAI records. Uploading of photograph & signatures as jpeg / jpg files is mandatory. The size of photo / signature should not be more than 50KB each. Please do not include dots in the name of files (eg. Step – 2 Online payment of Examination feeFor filling of Online Examination application form for appearing in the test, a candidate has to remit a applicable fee and applicable bank charges. A candidate will not be required to pay the test fee when he applies for the test for the first time. Still the applicant should click on ‘Save and Submit’ when prompted so as to complete the application processThe Fee should be remitted using Online Payment gateway facility with Visa/Master/Maestro Credit/Debit Card or through internet banking via Paytm.
Step – 3 The candidates are advised to check the application status thru the link “Check Application Status” given above whether the application has been captured Successfully by the portal. Mere deduction of amount from your account does not mean a successful application unless it is recorded successful at the exam application portal. Candidates are also advised to keep a printout of the barcoded exam application form. That is generated at the end of the process, for their records.17.
