23 Years as a Teacher
She started as an Art and Craft teacher in a CBSE school in Gujarat.
Discovered a passion for Mathematics. Completed M.Com and B.Ed.
23 years in teaching. She saw herself retiring from the same classroom.
The Regret That Started It All
Her father — a Company Secretary — had two CA sons and an MBA son.
He would often say he had done her a
"disfavour" by not letting her pursue CA.
Those words never left her. And at 48, she decided to act on them.
She Enrolled at 48
While most people in their 40s plan for retirement —
Anita enrolled at ICAI.
Full-time teacher. Wife. Mother. And now a CA student.
She was the oldest student in her articleship firm.
The Real Challenge
Training programs required travel to Ahmedabad and Vadodara.
She sat in classrooms with students half her age.
