1.5-Day Revision Plan
CA Foundation 1.5-Day Planner — All 4 Papers
A day-wise, paper-by-paper revision sequence for the gap between your CA Foundation exams — built around ICAI’s chapter weightage, not the clock.
⚡ How to use this planner
Each paper below is split into Day 1 (the evening/day right after your previous exam), Day 2 (your last full day before this paper), and Exam Morning. Follow the sequence in order — it’s built high-weightage-first, so even if you run out of time, you’ve covered what scores the most. Priority tags (A/B/C) tell you what to protect if a slot overruns.
Paper 1 · Accounting ▾
Subjective, 3-hour paper, no negative marking. Final Accounts and Partnership carry the heaviest weight — protect these two blocks above everything else.
Day 1

|---|

| Partnership Accounts | A | 15–20 marks | 2 hrs |
| Company Accounts — Issue of Shares | B | 10–15 marks | 1.5 hrs |
| Bank Reconciliation Statement | B | 5–10 marks | 1 hr |
Day 2
| Topic | Priority | Weightage | Time Block |
|---|
| Inventories (Valuation) | B | 5–10 marks | 1 hr |
| Depreciation Accounting | B | 5–10 marks | 1 hr |
| Financial Statements of NPOs | B | 5–10 marks | 1.5 hrs |
| Bills of Exchange & Promissory Notes | C | 4–6 marks | 45 min |
| Rectification of Errors | C | 4–6 marks | 45 min |

🎯 Tip
Don’t attempt new question types the night before. Stick to formats you’ve already practised — presentation matters as much as the number in Paper 1.
Paper 2 · Business Laws ▾
Subjective, 3-hour paper. The Contract Act and Companies Act together carry nearly half the paper — anchor your revision there.
Day 1
| Topic | Priority | Weightage | Time Block |
|---|
| The Indian Contract Act, 1872 | A | 20–25 marks | 3 hrs |
| The Sale of Goods Act, 1930 | B | 12–18 marks | 1.5 hrs |
Day 2
| Topic | Priority | Weightage | Time Block |
|---|
| The Companies Act, 2013 | A | 20–25 marks | 2.5 hrs |
| The Indian Partnership Act, 1932 | B | 10–15 marks | 1.5 hrs |
| The LLP Act, 2008 | C | 5–8 marks | 45 min |
| General Legal Terms & Interpretation of Statutes | C | 5–10 marks | 1 hr |
Exam Morning
| Activity | Time Block |
|---|
| Section-number recall sheet (Contract + Companies Act) | 1 hr |
| Practice answer format: Provision → Fact → Conclusion | 45 min |
⚠️ Warning
Don’t skip the “Provision → Facts → Conclusion” format for case-study answers — examiners award marks step-wise, and a right conclusion with no reasoning still loses marks.

✅ Success Habit
Solve the questions you’re 100% sure of first, then come back for the ones needing more thought — in a negative-marking paper, banking your certain marks early protects your score.
A 1.5-day plan works best as a final revision layer — not a first pass. If you’re further out from your exam and want a structured, day-wise schedule built across your full remaining runway, CharteredTeam’s
test planner lays out the complete revision cycle in the same day-wise format, mapped to your test dates.
