The story of CA Preethu Jayprakash — 1994 to 2022.
Born in Kuttanadu, Kerala
Born 30 April 1994 in Kuttanadu — a village reachable only by country boat.
At 6 months old, she was diagnosed with
Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
Her muscles would never strengthen. Her will was another matter.
She Never Stepped in a School
No school bus. No classroom. No playground.
Every lesson came to her at home.
Home tuitions only. English learned through movies.
Yet: 88% in Class 10. 96% in Class 12.

How She Prepared for CA
No coaching centre would come to Kuttanadu.
So she found her teachers on YouTube.
Online crash courses. Free resources. Sheer discipline.
B.Com first. Then CA Finals — cleared February 2021.
CA Qualified. Deloitte Calling.
After clearing CA Finals in 2021, she joined
Deloitte USI, Hyderabad.
A girl from a village only boats could reach —
now working at one of the Big 4.
She Gave Back Immediately
She volunteered with Mind Trust.
She tutored differently-abled students.
She knew what it meant to study without support.
She made sure fewer people had to.
5 June 2022
She passed away on 5 June 2022.
She was 28 years old.
She had lived more in 28 years than most do in 80.
The next time the exam feels impossible —
She had no
classroom.
